Ch.3 Money is Gooooood, a hell of a lot better than poverty.
Change doesn’t come without pain.
Money is an IMPORTANT thing if family starving or needs serious medical help.
Look at areas that lack money. Usually more crime being
committed, more people taking advantage of others, more disease,
more suffering, more death, and none or very little education.
Money buys food, clothing, warmth, electricity, and shelter, which can put a smile on ones’ face.
Love doesn’t provide financial security for retirement.
Ch.4 Majority of wealthy people I know are some of the

Poor people spend every last penny on junk food, video games, romance novels, cigarettes, drugs. Watching TV reruns and surfing internet & porn. Many lie, cheat and steal from others.

Lets say average lifespan is 70 years. You live with parents for 20 years. One third of your life is spent sleeping. Another third is wasted on entertainment, relaxing, watching TV, having sex, going to the bathroom, commuting to and from work, etc.
Leaving you with 10-15 hours to make your F.U Money.
How would you like to make money out of thin air? Sound far fetched? True freedom comes when you have developed the skills, creativity, and mindset that it’s the fruit of your hard earned work that provides financial security.
Reward is not only money… There’s confidence, freedom and the ability to make money whenever you need to.

Ch7. Myth: you have to be cheapskate
Copywriting business: Mike and Andrea both work from home, working as direct response marketing copywriters, writing long-form sales letters for businesses of all types, which gets customers to call them.
They bought a copywriting course for 1,500 dollars that told them exactly what to do, didn’t have to go to college. They were making good money in a couple of months.
Focus on generating dollars, not pinching pennies.
Learn a new high-paying skill.
You will not become a mega-millionaire until you begin to think and live like one.
People complain about the price of food, gas prices, or electricity bills, etc… Don’t worry about because there ain’t a damn thang you can do about it. What you can control is changing your financial situation.
When you make a lot of money and you’re only spending 15 to 20 percent of your income, suddenly the budgeting is just not that important now, is it?
You might as well enjoy life, the journey, instead of trying to save a few measly bucks.
Condition yourself for wealth, go to a 5 Star Hotel and grab a cup of coffee or tea and sit in the lobby. Loiter in the Hotel and immerse yourself in that environment.
Gotta go to the airport? Take a limo. People will think you’re important. Train oneself to get comfortable with the lifestyle, having my money, that I deserve these better things in life. WTB, a stretch limo is about double a cab, not that much money.
If you get good service, don’t be afraid to tip up to 30% at restaurant. Mindset of there’s plenty to go around and I can always earn more.

He knows 1,000’s of average people who went from rags to riches. Many made their fortunes in businesses, some stock market, some real estate.
Some made fortunes in business or investment, but most of the time it’s a combination of both. Takes them on average 3 to 7 years.

Ch. 10 Myth:you have to be perfectly ready
I wasn’t ready when i wrote my first book, but i was comfortable. Presentation in front of thousands of people, same, same.
Just like learning how to swim, you’re best bet is to be about half certain you are ready, fire, fire, aim a little and then fire some more.
Rich people make themselves do what they don’t know how to do–until they know how to do it. You will make mistakes, encounter problems, obstacles… just figure out how to never make that mistake again & come up with solutions or turn those problems into opportunities. The answers always come as you’re working on it.
Do baby’s attend seminars to learn how to walk? Nope… they grab on to the nearest solid object and just go for it! They fall down get up, get a few scrapes… why do they do it? Because the WANT to walk.
For thousands of years apprentices learned from the Masters, until they were 21 years old… not by listening in a classroom, they learned by DOING.

CH 13. You can’t have the Glory if you don’t have the GUTS

Ch. 14 Conventional wisdom is almost always wrong
Conventional wisdom has been handed down to us for generations and it’s mediocrity thinking at best. Lack, scarcity thinking.
People told Dan he couldn’t do…
You can’t charge one thousand dollars an hour for consulting.
You can’t fire your clients!
You can’t be a public speaker; it’s your number one fear!

Ch 15. Most Important Thing you can Do Today to start your F.U Journey
High-self Esteem is the foundation of all Success. Develop a sense of superiority. (taught to him by a billionaire)
You must believe that you actually deserve all the success, wealth, and
power that you seek. It’s about having certainty and confidence in yourself. (self-confidence) You have to be sure of yourself, and it shows. Do not 2nd-guess yourself, get started NOW. And figure it out as you go along. “That’s okay—I’ll be able to handle the problems as they come.” Having the BALLS , the guts….to step up to the plate.
Having lots of CA$H cures low-self-esteem. Nothing great was ever accomplished by timid people. You will become more powerful and decisive. You’ll admire yourself.
Have control over your life, good work ethic, and do more preparation than other guys. Feel capable, sure and competent of your abilities. Knowing you have the ability to make things happen. = Confidence
I place a high value on myself, even if it means sometimes giving the appearance of arrogance to others. I don’t care about what others think.
I can be, do or have…and take the steps necessary—regardless of
the cost or the potential of numerous failed attempts.
One’s true potential – maybe it’s a new technology, book, song, invention, idea.
Money and accomplishment will give you confidence because you now believe you can make it happen again and again.

If you ever feel lack of confidence, say: “Damn, I have done ____ before. I can certainly do____ today. I CAN do this.”
Ch. 16 You can make money or excuses not both
Give 2 people same set of instructions, system, etc and 1 fails an the other succeeds, why? One believes in himself (self-image) and Believes he can do it. The other don’t… Get the Psychology/mindset right. Excuses are nothing more than obstacles you’ve made up in your mind, blow past them and make your F.U Money that much faster.
People whine because they are looking for empathy. They win by not making mistakes, by complaining, by justifying–they become addicted to their struggles. Instead of taking responsibility and actually DO something to change their circumstances, change what’s wrong with them… their problems would dissapear or lessen.
You can choose to continue down the self-pity path for the rest of your life looking for sympathy and alienating all those who have any interest in working with you. You’ll die a miserable, one who contributed nothing.
Ch. 17 The power of setting D.I.G. (Daily Income Goal)
$10k/month = $350/day.
- “What can I doing today to make minimum of $350?” (#1 Priority)

Some other questions you could ask:
- Are we making more money today?

Busy/unproductive: Returning phone calls, answering calls, e-mails, paperwork—NONE of those things help you generate money or make sales.
Put $350 in big numbers on my office wall. Get cranky if you don’t make that amount of money every day. Won’t be long and you’ll be making boat loads of money every day!
Ch. 18 Dealing with clients (Soup Nazi)
Don’t take shit from ANYBODY. Have the attitude that nobody
is allowed to take you down or insult/say anything bad about you without your permission/agreement. Working with asshole clients is never worth the grief. It’s just not worth it.
Have an assistant filter through phone calls, emails…you deal with the legitimate ones. Pain in the ass client, disqualify him and fire his ass. Maybe refer them to somebodyelse. Send them away.
Why have clients, or anyone for that matter, in your life that
frustrate you, bore you to tears, and drain the life out of you?
Clients and money are replaceable, time is not.
Be effective by being SELECTIVE. If I dread the thought of having lunch with you, if we have a meeting and you’re late, if you’re a negative or toxic person…I don’t want you in my life, I’m not doing business with you.
Constantly gather IDEAS on how to make a hell of a lot more money in your business.
Rich people get paid before they do the work. Exception would be if they have good credit v.s cash. But ca$h is KING.

You can’t manage time, you can manage yourself (self-management) and how you choose to use the time that you have. Rich or poor only have 24 hours/day.
4. What your MAGIC number? $100/hour (You must continually increase the worth of your time. (In order to make the kind of money and work the amount of hours you want.) If it don’t make you $100/hour then delegate.
This is why I don’t wash my car. I don’t go grocery shopping. I don’t vacuum my carpet. I don’t do bookkeeping. I don’t mow lawn, I don’t do ANY of this crap that I can pay someone fifteen or twenty bucks to do!
Learn to Love the activities that are capable of producing the largest sum of money–then the money will follow.
Have someone cook 1 week of food and store in frige and freezer.

Work 4-6 days / week. When you do work, be super productive. Do not take unscheduled incomming calls. Only do pre-scheduled phone calls.
Can u walk away from ur busiess for 5weeks n still have same profit? no? Then you have a job, not a business.
People will do things on your terms ALA they know what’s in it for them.
Virtual assistant can screen your emails. (if you have 400 of them)
Check your orders once in a.m and again in the afternoon to know how much money you’re making.
Profit producing activities and non-profit producing activities.
Delegate and outsource Non-profit producing activities include surfing the Internet, checking e-mails, answering your phone, checking web stats, organizing your office, and bookkeeping, etc.—activities that don’t put cash in your pocket.
Profit producing activities include creating new products, marketing you products, improving your marketing process, managing moneymaking projects, raising capital, finding new ways to acquire customers, setting up joint venture deals, setting up strategic partnerships, creating systems, and hiring good people to run your businesses.
Lazer-beam focus is mandatory for success. Knowing what you WANT…you won’t get distracted. Know ur strengths, wat ur good at. Choose business dat has highest chance of making u ur f.u money. get rid of the others.
List business activities you do on a daily basis, i.e photcopying. Identify the 5 activties from the list that make you the most money. Focus most of your time and energy on those.

#3. Be Portable. Green tea. Work from home, pajamas, underwear, t-shirt and shorts, etc.
#4. High Profit Margin. At least 100% i.e selling $200 item, keep $100.
#5. Scalability. Do not get into a business if there isn’t a potential for
big, back-end profits. Ideally, you can scale a business using systems, technology, and outside vendors versus just hiring more employees
#6 Low start-up cost. Maybe you spend $10k to start a business.
Leverage OP money, time, expertise: Have a good strategy. Who would benefit from the deal? i.e If you’re on good terms with your supplier, offer to pay him double (250k) for 5 years by picking up another flower store if they will give you 25k. Take 25k to owner who wants to sell for 50k and offer him 60k! and 25k down w/installment on the rest.
#7. Requires little or no staff
He runs a multi-million dollar company & has 2 virtual assistants and a lot of independent contractors working with him (not for him). He has 50 websites that do not require his daily presence.
How I can get so much done?—my team does. All I do is video-conference
with my virtual team occasionally to brainstorm and create plans for
growth, and exchange e-mails with them regularly.
I put the right person in the right place, give them the resources and direction they need to get the job done right, and help them maintain focus.

Leave just enough money in your business to keep it running. Take the rest of money out and invest it. Pay yourself first, then your help.

Ch. 25 How I went from rags to riches on the internet

buying all the marketing books I could get my hands on. I started studying ads and sales letters. I wanted to know what makes people tick and what motivates people to buy.
buy magazines to read the articles. Read junk mail. Purposefully order stuff from mail order companies (to get more junk mail). – to see different offers and pitches. (i wanted to be sold to)
Be persistent in the RIGHT things.
Find an ad or a sales letter that you really like, that really moves you, then you hand write it out twice, that en-grains the style of writing into your mind. It will take an hour or two of your time, but it’s EFFECTIVE.

Practice in mirror before asking clients for more money. Dan doubled it from 1k to 10k in 1 year! Getting a mentor changed everything for him.
Then he met his 2nd mentor, Dan Penny, whom he learned finance and business from. One of his advice: Build a new business of something you really want to do and around your strength.
Dan thinks finding the right Vehicle is important. Being the right person in the right place@right time.
Dan got depressed at one point and revamped all his business to have partnership, win/win. Choose partners who have same values, share a mission, some epic cool things, skills that compliment each other, same work ethic, integrity. Stay away from people that are desperate, they will stab you in the back. Successful people: if the deal works or not, it’s still okay for them.
Give perception of high demand, low supply. “I’ very much in demand, I’m very busy, I only take on maybe selectively two three clients five times a year, I charge a lot of money… so you drive up the demand and also restrict the supply, suddenly you become more valuable, providing the same service. When people pay you more money, the value what you do more. The more you pay, you pay more attention and tend to be easier to deal with. They tend to be more assertive and follow through. Cheap clients tend to be a pain in the ass, difficult to deal with. You go the extra mile and they’re still not happy, looking for a deal, a discount.
Success is getting what you want but Significance is giving what you got. Success is have a per-determined plan, executing the plan successfully (over a long period of time) & having fun doing it. Success can also be an illusion.
Money comes to people who don’t need it, who don’t know how to multiply it. When ur not chasing money, money just comes.
Find mentor, someone you resonate with and respect.
Youtube videos are just data. Knowing how to connect the dots and which ones are bullshit & maybe you can’t even see the dot (broad view). Mentor who can trust and believe in you that can offer insight/possibilities to you, who cares about you, who you can talk to 1 on 1 interaction, and who is where you want to be in your dream life, not like 10 years ago, he is in it, he’s doing it, been there, done that and continues to do it. Go all in, pay, work for them for free, whatever it takes. Find ONE Mentor, look at a guy and say that’s a guy I could spend 10 years learning from–that’s the guy. Learning from a Master, they can help you achieve all your goals.
Legacy–impact alot of people, satisfaction, fulfillment, but really in 100-200 years you will probably be forgotten about, so take it all lightly.

Golden Key #1. The Market Comes First. There has to be a MARKET for what you offer, don’t matter how perfect your product is.
Do effective Market Research (technique). People don’t buy from you because they understand what you sell, The BUY from you because they feel UNDERSTOOD.
Find out what people want and are willing to buy. What they are actually spending MONEY ON ALREADY.
• Is the market already buying something similar to what I’m
thinking of selling?
• Is this a market where people buy, or is this a market of people
who have no money and are looking for something free?
• Is the market big enough?
• Are there existing partners in the market I can joint venture
• Am I able to reach these buyers?
• Am I going to be able to drive traffic to my website and get
them to buy my products?
Start with a topic that has a future to it. A lot of Internet entrepreneurs
fail because they choose a niche without a lot of back-end potential.
Identify niches where people have money and are used to spending it on products within that niche—i.e golfers are fanatical about improving their game, and they’re willing to plop down a good chunk of change to buy the
latest gadgets, read the latest books, watch the latest videos, you name it, just to shave one stroke off their score.
Sell something that is already proven to sell. If you want to find out where money is being made, look no further than where money is being spent.
